Become a Sinister Wisdom Monthly Sustainer

Sinister Wisdom is a labor of love, created by a community of lesbian and queer women devoted to uplifting our narratives. Our contributors, editors, interns, and volunteers all understand the importance of giving our time and energy to a journal that continuously gives back. As a non-profit journal, we depend on subscriptions, donations, and monthly sustainers to pay the bills. These individuals and communities keep Sinister Wisdom in print and we plan to be around as long as a space for lesbian art and literature is necessary. We can't help that we live within capitalism (although lesbians everywhere are working to dismantle it), but we can build a support system with your help. Even the smallest contribution goes a long way. Will you become a monthly sustainer and help Sinister Wisdom thrive for years to come?

Not only do you have a special role as a supporter of Sinister Wisdom, you'll also receive special emails from Sinister Wisdom's editor Julie R. Enszer each month when your gift is made. Attached below are some samples of past emails that go out exclusively to Sinister Wisdom sustainers. In addition to updates about Sinister Wisdom news, Enszer provides recommendations of lesbian literature and sneak peeks upcoming issues as well as on occasion updates about the dogs and cat of Sinister Wisdom.
